AeroPress Coffee Maker - Steel
The AeroPress you know, rebuilt in vacuum-insulated 304 stainless steel.
Full-bodied like a French press. Smooth like a pour-over. Rich like espresso. Now with better heat retention, a larger chamber, and no plastic in contact with your coffee.
The AeroPress Steel keeps the same fast, grit-free 3-in-1 method that made the original a classic, but the double-wall vacuum-insulated chamber holds temperature better and stays cool to the touch. You get a hotter, more stable brew without preheating, and a 12 oz capacity that is 20% larger than other standard-size AeroPress models.
It is built for people who already love AeroPress and want the version that will last. Dishwasher-safe, travel-ready, and compatible with the same standard paper filters and Flow Control Cap you already use.
Why it is different
- Vacuum-insulated chamber — holds heat better than plastic AeroPress models and stays cool on the outside. No preheating required.
- 20% larger capacity — 12 oz / 360 ml. Enough for one large mug or two smaller cups.
- 304 stainless steel — chamber, plunger, filter cap, scoop, and stirrer are all professional-grade stainless. The only non-metal part is the LFGB-grade silicone seal.
- Same 3-in-1 method — fast immersion, micro-filtration, and air pressure. Under two minutes from grind to cup.
- Works with what you already own — uses standard AeroPress paper micro-filters and the standard Flow Control Cap.
- Easy to clean — dishwasher-safe. Hand-wash with lukewarm water and mild soap if you prefer.

How to brew (standard method)
- Insert a paper filter into the cap and rinse it with hot water.
- Add 15–17 g of medium-fine ground coffee.
- Pour hot water (around 200°F) to the desired mark. The Steel’s insulation means you do not need to preheat the chamber.

- Insert the plunger and press slowly. Done in under two minutes.
For a stronger, espresso-style concentrate, use the inverted method or pair it with the Flow Control Cap.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does this work with my existing AeroPress filters?
Yes. It uses standard-size AeroPress paper micro-filters and the standard Flow Control Cap. It does not use XL filters.
Is the chamber hot to the touch?
No. The double-wall vacuum insulation keeps the outside cool. The filter cap can get hot after brewing, cool it under water or use a cloth to remove it.
Can I put it in the dishwasher?
Yes. It is dishwasher-safe. You can also hand-wash it weekly with lukewarm water and mild soap.
How does the capacity compare to the Original?
The Steel holds 12 oz / 360 ml, about 20% more than other standard-size AeroPress models. The XL is larger still and uses different filters.
Is this a good travel brewer?
Yes. It is durable and compact, though heavier than the plastic Original or Go. The metal construction handles bags and rough handling better than plastic or glass.
